A Sims 3 Tutorial: Expanding a Premade Building

Hi! Today, I'm going to be showing you a Sims 3 tutorial. Just to say quickly, the Sims 3 is a part of a huge merchandise called the Sims, and the Sims 3 is on PC, but has actually recently come out on console (PS3, Xbox etc) but I will be showing you this tutorial using the PC version! :)

Okay, to start off, you have to start on a Community Lot, so that you can access the buildings that I will be using.

Next, go to the Building menu and select the icon that looks like a building, and then select the building you want. I will be using the Spa. ^^

Okay. Then, place it where you want. Okay. So, access the cheat bar ( Ctrl+C+Shift) and type in "Moveobject on" (without quotation marks) and hit Enter. Then, draw little markings like this:

All of my markings are 1 square away fom where the actual building was, so now I will join them all up, making sure that they are all 1 square in.

As you can see, it fits perfectly. ^_^  Now, you delete the building again. Now, you can build the outline of your "extension". This is what mine looks like:

You can have as many floors as you want! So, just draw the outline if your extension. The, after you are done, you need to get the same building and slot it in where it's supposed to be. ^^

Now, you can customise it however you want! You don't have to furnish the extension or add any doors if you don't want to, but I'd suggest adding windows. Try and get the extension to look as if, well, it wasn't an extention! :)
This is what my finished building looks like!

Thanks for reading! I hope I managed to explain this well enough! :) Bye!
From,
